About this Event
Tanabata, the star festival, falls on 7 July — the one night the weaver star and the cowherd meet across the Milky Way, and wishes are written down.
We're marking it early, on 1 July: one evening, two small seatings.
It begins at the bar. Mika Kobayashi tells the story of Tanabata over tea and a seasonal sweet. Then, one by one, you sit with her at the table. You tell her your wish; she writes it as a single kanji on handmade paper — yours to take home.
Five seats per seating. Small on purpose.
The evening:
- Wednesday 1 July 2026
- Two seatings: 18:00 and 20:00
- 75–90 minutes
- 55 € per person
- Kissabō · Kopenhagener Straße 16 · Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg
- Held in English
