Tamir Hendelman — Solo Piano
Join acclaimed jazz pianist and composer Tamir Hendelman for an intimate evening of solo piano, featuring a vibrant mix of jazz standards, original compositions, and imaginative adaptations of jazz and classical works by Peterson, Evans, Ravel, Corea, Fauré, Jarrett, Bach, and others.
Born in Tel Aviv and now based in Los Angeles, Hendelman has performed and recorded with some of the most celebrated artists in jazz and popular music, including Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, Roberta Gambarini, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Benny Golson, Jeff Hamilton, John Clayton, and Terell Stafford. He is also a longtime member of the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and a faculty member at UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music.
In this solo setting, Hendelman brings together his deep roots in jazz, classical music, and improvisation, transforming familiar melodies into fresh, personal interpretations. The evening will move freely between beloved standards, original music, and classical pieces reimagined through a jazz lens.

The venue is Jazz at the G, an intimate house concert setting located in Mt. Washington in Los Angeles.
7:30PM show (2 sets) / Doors at 7:00PM

- Ample street parking. Be aware that the venue is located on a steep hill.
