Six years after losing Tami to melanoma, her spirit continues to bring people together. Kind and caring, generous and selfless, tough and resilient, and fun, funny and festive, Tami was the person who would be out front galvanizing people to show up for someone who needed it. She believed in FRAMILY - the beautiful blend of friends and family that created a strong community and gave everyone a sense of belonging. Look no further than her twin sister, Toni, who shares those same qualities as well as an extraordinary bond with Tami. That same deep love lives on in Sean and their boys, Gavin and Griffin, who built a lifetime of love and memories with Tami and carry her with them every day. And, of course, purple and gold will always connect us: the Vikings were a family passion shared by Tami, Toni, and their mom. As we gather to raise a glass to Tami and enjoy an afternoon of football, friendship, and community, we also honor her by raising awareness about melanoma - as Tami would say, Go get your skin checked! - and supporting those facing cancer and their loved ones. We know Tami is smiling down on this gathering of FRAMILY, and that her spirit is not only present but leading us today.
