Talking Teens focuses on the changes teenagers go through. It gives practical advice, such as setting boundaries and improving communication skills to help build a bond with your teen.
It covers:
· The foundations of positive parenting: providing warmth and structure
· Messages from research: the teenage brain, sleeping habits and more
· Handling difficult issues: drugs & alcohol, social media, sex, sexuality and staying safe
· Power, boundaries and problem-solving
· The programme is 4 weekly sessions, 1 hour and 45 mins each week

This programme is for all parents and carers of children at secondary school, 11 years plus. However it can also be useful if you want to get prepared for those teenage years and have children in years 5 and 6 of primary school.
Please note:
These sessions are for parents/carers and other adult family members only.
Polite reminder:
Tickets must be booked for each individual attending the course. If you are bringing a partner or other family member, book them a ticket too.
