During this overview we will go over our key frameworks and values, dive into how we use peer support on the line, provide more details about how our follow-up program is coupled with in-the moment support for parents, and much more! There will be space to ask questions, engage in dynamic discussions, and unravel the pathways to extend deeper, impactful peer support to parents navigating through stress.

Who Should Participate?
Any provider who works directly with families and children this can include but is not limited to: social workers, case managers, school counselors, teachers, community organization members, etc.
Presenters
Kristen Cruz: Holds a B.A in Psychology from CIIS and two proud degrees from City College of San Francisco. Kristen’s background includes research examining experiences of early childhood trauma and spirituality in Chicana’s, as well as experience in peer support and work with domestic violence survivors. Kristen is new to Safe & Sound and happy to be uniting her lived experience with her educational and professional background to be in service of families through her work on the TALK Line team.
