This talk investigates often misidentified, and some yet to be identified, objects found in West Berkshire.Dr Philip Smither is the Finds Liaison Officer for Berkshire. His main role is to record archaeological objects found by members of the public, primarily metal detectorists. He is also a Roman object specialist, with an interest in Late Roman military objects and coins.
