The aim of this meeting is to provide a comprehensive update into critical care, conditions and treatments and the support of ICU.
About this Event

Guy’s and St Thomas’ is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK, and our hospitals have been at the forefront of medical progress and innovation since they were founded. We continue to build on these traditions and have a reputation for clinical, teaching and research excellence. The Critical Care Department is one of the largest in the UK, with patients admitted from a range of specialties. As a tertiary referral centre, it is nationally and internationally renowned for its services and advanced therapies.



Aim

The aim of this meeting is to provide a comprehensive update into critical care, conditions and treatments and the support of ICU in delivering specialist care to patients.



Objective
  • To understand the management of severe blood disorders, and the optimal use of treatment
  • To be able to identify when there is a need for ICU to withdraw, and how to support the delivery of care at all levels
  • To understand the latest developments related to diagnosis and treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome.



Who should attend

This meeting is suitable for Critical Care Nurses, Consultants and AHPs.
