Ann Street Gallery's Emerging Artist Fellows invite the public to a Fellowship exhibition closing celebration and reading with tea and cookies. Gallery Assistant Steven Gonzalez will introduce themes and works in the Fellowship exhibition. The Fellows will offer readings of original works aligned with their Fellowship projects and activism, sharing space and building community with the Orange County Queer Collective, followed by time to gather and talk. The Fellows use storytelling to claim margins, thresholds, and grey spaces as places of agency and connection, making space within inherited narratives for embodied authenticity and productive ambiguity.
Sunday, November 22, 1:00 - 3:00 pm
