About the Speaker:
Dr. Ildikó Boldizsár is a József Attila Award-winning writer, folklore researcher, healing through tales therapist, university lecturer, and the creator of the Metamorphoses – Healing through Tales therapy method.
"Fairy Tales Help Us Live"
Dr. Ildikó Boldizsár has been researching the world's treasury of folk tales for forty years and has published more than sixty books on the subject. In her lecture, she discusses the role folk tales have played throughout human history and how we can apply the ancient wisdom preserved in these stories in our everyday lives and even in healing.

Dr. Ildikó Boldizsár's Metamorphoses – Healing through Tales therapy method has been adopted by thousands of educators in Hungary. In her lecture, she emphasizes how fairy tales can be used in education and upbringing, how they can connect children of different ages with stories, and what preschoolers, young schoolchildren, and teenagers can learn from them. She also touches on the role of Hungarian folk tales in foreign schools and how these stories preserve and convey the cultural values of a nation.
