About this Event

To make sure we have enough food, registration is required for Take Care of YOU!.

Join other healing professionals the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 9AM-10AM at the Hamilton's Kitchen (300 E New England Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789) as we gather to support one another while enjoying a complimentary breakfast.

Take Care of YOU! is a peer-led gathering for all healers, movement makers & shakers, and folks (in the non-profit and for-profit sectors alike) trying to make the world a little brighter — it is tough out here and you deserve the same support you’re always giving. This space always welcomes new friends and is intended to provide support and connection with other healers.

In This Space:

You are encouraged to take off your “work cap” and be human.
We are not superhumans, it’s okay to not be okay.
We value lived experience as something that makes you even better at your job.
What is said here, stays here.
We are nonjudgemental.
We ask before giving advice and give advice from a place of “I”.
Job titles and credentials don’t matter here- were all equals.
We give everyone an equal chance to share.
It’s okay to mess up on the comfort agreement, we agree to gently help one another create this space.

We know that working to provide help and healing for others exposes you to difficult stories and situations on a regular basis, we also know you are a human outside your role. It's important to refill your cup so you can best serve those around you. We want to encourage you to take time to give yourself the same love, attention, and care you put out into the world because you matter, you are amazing, and you are loved.
