Take a Hike is more than just a walk; it’s a monthly outdoor wellness experience designed for men to unplug, recharge, and reconnect. Hosted by UH Cutler Center for Men, this guided group hike creates space for meaningful conversation, peer connection, and intentional focus on physical, mental, and emotional well-being, all in the calming presence of nature.
Participants will kick off with a brief welcome and introduction before setting out on a moderate-paced hike filled with opportunities for reflection, wellness discussions, and camaraderie. The experience wraps up with a guided cool-down, stretching session, and a brief resource spotlight highlighting Cutler programming and upcoming events.
Whether you're looking to clear your mind, build community, or simply get moving, Take a Hike! offers a refreshing and purposeful start to your day. Just bring comfortable shoes, water, and weather-appropriate gear - we’ll take care of the rest.

Participants will:
· Engage in moderate physical activity through guided hiking
· Learn about the physical and mental health benefits of outdoor exercise
· Strengthen social support networks with fellow men
· Experience mental health benefits such as reduced stress and improved mood
· Increase awareness of UH Cutler Center resources and Whole Health programming
· Develop healthy habits that can be incorporated into everyday life
