Tai Chi Tuesdays at the National Botanic Garden of Wales
Discover the calming benefits of Tai Chi in the beautiful surroundings of the National Botanic Garden of Wales. These welcoming weekly sessions offer an opportunity to improve balance, flexibility, posture, relaxation, and overall wellbeing through gentle, flowing movement. Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with previous experience, the classes provide a supportive and enjoyable environment to learn at your own pace.
The sessions are led by Paul, who has been studying Taiji for over 25 years under a succession of skilled, caring, and supportive teachers. Encouraged by his current teacher, Paul began teaching in 2018 and quickly built popular classes across Llandeilo, Ferryside, Carmarthen, and St Clears. During lockdown, he continued teaching online, helping a diverse community of students stay connected, active, and engaged throughout the pandemic.
Now teaching once again in St Clears, Paul is delighted to be bringing a new class to the National Botanic Garden of Wales. His teaching combines a short Yang Style Taiji form with complementary qigong and neigong practices, creating sessions that are accessible for beginners while still offering depth and challenge for more experienced students.
Come and enjoy mindful movement in one of Wales’ most inspiring natural settings.

Dydd Mawrth ‘Tai Chi’ yng Ngardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol Cymru
Darganfyddwch fanteision tawelu Tai Chi yng nghyffiniau prydferth Gardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol Cymru. Mae’r sesiynau wythnosol croesawgar hyn yn cynnig cyfle i wella cydbwysedd, hyblygrwydd, ystum, ymlacio a lles cyffredinol trwy symudiad ysgafn a llifo. Yn addas ar gyfer dechreuwyr llwyr yn ogystal â’r rhai sydd â phrofiad blaenorol, mae’r dosbarthiadau’n darparu amgylchedd cefnogol a phleserus i ddysgu ar eich cyflymder eich hun.
Mae’r sesiynau’n cael eu harwain gan Paul, sydd wedi bod yn astudio Tai Chi ers dros 25 mlynedd o dan gyfres o athrawon medrus, gofalgar a chefnogol. Wedi’i annog gan ei athro presennol, dechreuodd Paul addysgu yn 2018 ac adeiladodd ddosbarthiadau poblogaidd yn gyflym ar draws Llandeilo, Glanyfferi, Caerfyrddin a San Clêr. Yn ystod y cyfnod clo, parhaodd i addysgu ar-lein, gan helpu cymuned amrywiol o fyfyrwyr i aros yn gysylltiedig, yn egnïol ac yn ymgysylltu drwy gydol y pandemig.
Gan fod Paul bellach yn addysgu unwaith eto yn San Clêr, mae’n falch iawn o ddod â dosbarth newydd i Ardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol Cymru. Mae ei addysgu’n cyfuno ffurf fer o Taiji Arddull Yang ag arferion qigong a neigong cyflenwol, gan greu sesiynau sy’n hygyrch i ddechreuwyr tra’n dal i gynnig dyfnder a her i fyfyrwyr mwy profiadol.
Dewch i fwynhau symudiad ymwybodol yn un o leoliadau naturiol mwyaf ysbrydoledig Cymru.
