Who: Summer camp will be for Brown and Black Belt students, their spouses, or a guardian for minors. Participants 15 and under will need to be accompanied by a guardian.
What: A weekend for Brown and Black Belts to train, socialize, and receive CPR training, as well as other opportunities for leadership development. The weekend will finish with our all ranks and family association picnic on Sunday.
Things To Know: The group camp area is primitive camping. Individuals participating will need to be prepared to bring their own tent, food, and water for the weekend. The area has pit toilets, a potable water supply, and a pavilion. The road to the group camp is steep and gravel. Participants may drive up to the group camp area to drop off and set up their camp. We are only allowed to keep two vehicles at the group camp area overnight. Vehicles will need to be moved to the lodge overflow parking lot for the weekend. It is prohibited to bring in outside firewood for camp. Firewood can be gathered from fallen limbs in the surrounding wooded area.
Alternatives to primitive camping are available: Pere Marquette has a lodge with hotel rooms and a restaurant. More information regarding this can be found at:
