Not sure what the Inland Port actually does? Learn what it is, where it is headed next, and the real estate opportunities it is creating.About this Event
The Utah Inland Port Authority has project areas from Salt Lake’s Northwest Quadrant to Cedar City to Carbon County. Most people in real estate have heard the name, but far fewer know what it actually does, how it’s funded, or what it means for the deals they’re working on.
This month, Ben Hart, Executive Director of the Utah Inland Port Authority, is coming to clear it up. Ben has led the Port since 2022, and before that he was deputy director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity. If anyone can explain where this is all headed, it’s him.
What we’ll get into:
- What the Inland Port actually is (and isn’t)
- How project areas work and get funded
- What’s happening in the Northwest Quadrant, Cedar City and Carbon County
- Where it’s creating demand for land, industrial space and housing
- The opportunities for developers, investors, lenders and agents
Bring your questions. It’s not often you get to ask the person running it.
