One night. Two sides of the mic. Regular poetry before 9. Erotic + adult poetry after 9. Welcome to TABOO: Halloween Edition.About this Event
Join Suave the Poet for the Halloween Edition of TABOO Poetry, an open-mic experience where the energy changes as the night gets later.
We start the evening with poetry for everybody.
Then at 9 PM… TABOO changes.
🖤 TRICK — Before 9 PM
From 8–9 PM, the mic is open for regular and non-erotic poetry.
Bring the bars.
Bring the stories.
Bring the heartbreak.
Bring the healing.
Bring whatever you've been waiting to say.
Whether you're performing or just coming to experience the room, this is your chance to catch Fayetteville's poetry community live.
❤️🔥 TREAT — After 9 PM
At 9 PM, the rules change.
The second half of TABOO welcomes erotic, sensual, mature and adult-themed poetry.
This is where poets can explore the side of their writing that doesn't always have a home on the traditional open mic.
Mature content should be expected after 9 PM.
