Chicago’s own T. Murph is coming home for a historic milestone: his first-ever theater headlining performance in the city that started it all.
A true powerhouse onscreen and onstage, T. Murph has been recognized by the industry’s most prestigious outlets as a premiere national touring headliner. The New York Times hailed him as "the most consistently funny aspect" of his hit series, while Entertainment Weekly praised his "scene-stealing and hilarious" performances. From sit-downs on Larry King Live to show-stopping sets on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Murph has solidified his place as one of the top comedic voices in the country.
Beyond his breakout role as Clovis in Hulu’s Woke, Murph has brought his razor-sharp wit to Comedy Central’s Kevin Hart Presents: The Next Level, NBC’s Chicago P.D., and BET.
Now, the "Legendary" T. Murph returns to the iconic Vic Theatre stage with his latest hour, "Why Am I Raising Adults?" This isn't just a comedy show; it’s a homecoming celebration for a Chicago legend whose raw, honest, and high-energy storytelling has earned him a massive global following and millions of views. Don’t miss this "arrival" moment as one of Chicago's finest takes his rightful place in the spotlight.
