About this Event
Prepare for a spellbinding evening of orchestral thrills at Symphonic Spooktacular, with guest conductor Paul Little, where music, mystery, and imagination come together for a hauntingly memorable experience. Audience members are encouraged to come dressed in costume and join the fun as the orchestra brings to life some of classical music’s most dramatic and supernatural works. The program opens with Mussorgsky’s powerful Night on Bald Mountain and Gounod’s delightfully eerie Funeral March of a Marionette. Violinist Yujin Kang joins the orchestra as soloist for Paganini’s dazzling Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Major, Movement I. The evening continues with Saint-Saëns’ chilling Danse Macabre, Dvořák’s mysterious The Noonday Witch, and the thrilling conclusion of Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique, featuring the dramatic “March to the Scaffold” and “Witches’ Sabbath.” This unforgettable concert promises a perfect blend of excitement, suspense, and symphonic magic for audiences of all ages.
