Join New Horizons Symphony at NMSU and Music Director Jorge Martinez-Rios as we open our 2026–2027 season with Symphonic Landscapes, an afternoon of music that paints pictures of places near and far. We’ll set off with the galloping energy of Franz von Suppé’s Light Cavalry Overture, travel south to the sunlit rhythms of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol, and finish in the rolling Bohemian countryside with Antonín Dvořák’s warm and lyrical Symphony No. 8 in G Major.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Bring a friend, bring the family, and spend a Sunday afternoon with your neighbors making music!
