About this Event
A symbol is a clear graphic illustration representing people or items of religious significance, revealing the truth to those who know how to interpret it and concealing it from the uninitiated.
Join us on our new tour to explore the symbolism and meaning of this inspiring and ornate building. Discover the hidden meanings and symbols of the stone carvings and stained glass, both inside and outside the Cathedral, which you might otherwise miss.
Tours take place every Thursday at 1pm.
Each tour will last approximately 60 minutes and costs £7.50 per person in addition to the general admission fee.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour start time, and pay admission at our welcome desk and receive your tour information.
Places are limited on each tour so it is recommended that you book in advance to guarantee a place.
Please note that tours may be cancelled at the Cathedral's discretion.
