Swig & Solve is returning to The Ribchester Arms after a sell-out first visit.If you missed it last time, this is your chance to gather your group around the mystery chest and take on The Lost Treasure. Swig & Solve brings people together around a handcrafted mystery chest packed with hands-on puzzles, locks, compartments and shared discoveries.
It has the satisfying discovery of an escape room, but in a much more relaxed and social setting. Your group plays together around its own table, with time to chat, enjoy a drink and work things out at your own pace. No locked room. No countdown pressure. No need to race.
The experience is fully hosted, with a little humour and a helpful nudge available whenever you need one.
And finding the treasure isn’t the end. Once you’ve completed the main chest, the Tavern Menu opens up a selection of bonus challenges to continue exploring together.

Standard Voyage
The full Swig & Solve experience, with balanced clues and signposting to keep the adventure flowing.
Blackbeard’s Challenge
For experienced puzzlers or groups looking for something trickier - the same mystery chest and core puzzles, but with less signposting and more left for your group to work out.
