The Christiana Smith African American Alumni Chapter proudly celebrates its 34th annual Sweet Sounds of Sharing on Homecoming Day, October 3, 2026. This year’s event will honor distinguished individuals in a program held at UL Lafayette’s Student Union. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a Zydeco brunch in the Student Union Ballroom. A cash bar will be available.*Please note: Tickets purchased by Friday, September 18th are guaranteed one (1) event book. Tickets purchased after the 18th are not guaranteed a book. Ticket purchases will close on Wednesday, September 30th. No tickets will be available after this date. Additional books are available for $10 per copy.
