Sweet Auburn Barbecue is bringing barbecue, bluegrass and a little friendly competition to McDonough on Saturday, October 10, from noon to 4 p.m. The inaugural McDonough BBQ & Bluegrass Festival will feature Sweet Auburn Barbecue, Terminus City Barbecue, Dhaba BBQ and NO Sauce Smokehouse serving dishes created for the occasion, plus live music from Dusty Roads, a People’s Choice competition, local vendors, a Kids Zone and more. Tickets are $45 for adults and $25 for kids and include barbecue from all participating pitmasters. Sweet Auburn Barbecue is located at 1828 Jonesboro Road in McDonough.
