If you were at Norfolk State in the ’90s or 2000s, then you already know what **The Sweat Box** meant. It wasn’t just another party—it was a weekly NSU tradition. The room was packed, the music was loud, everybody was dancing, and by the end of the night the name **“Sweat Box”** made perfect sense. Now, during **Norfolk State Homecoming 2026**, we’re bringing that energy back.
On **Friday, October 9th**, SWEAT BOX returns for one night in the heart of Downtown Norfolk at Chicho’s Pizza Backstage, located at **320 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23510**.
This is for the Spartans who remember what NSU parties used to feel like—and for the new generation ready to experience it for themselves. Expect a night built around **NSU nostalgia, Homecoming energy, classic party records, R&B, Hip-Hop, throwbacks and the music that kept the original Sweat Box moving.**
**Hosted by BossBags + Cray + Stevie P**, with **DJ I.N.C.** controlling the soundtrack, this is four straight hours of dancing, reconnecting and reliving the kind of Norfolk State memories that people still talk about
**Old memories. New memories. Same Spartan energy.**
**BEHOLD THE GREEN & GOLD. 🟢🟡**
**SWEAT BOX IS BACK.** 🔥
