Swansea Scoop Dinner Club at Flynn’s Deli
Want to make new friends in Swansea?
Maybe you’ve just moved to Swansea, your friendship circle has changed, or perhaps you’d just like to meet some new people without joining a club, networking, or awkwardly introducing yourself to strangers in a pub.
That’s why we started Swansea Scoop Dinner Club - and more than 300 people joined us for Dinner Club events earlier this year.
On Thursday October 22nd, Swansea Scoop Dinner Club returns at Flynn’s Delicatessen, with guests seated across tables of six.
Come on your own, with a friend or as a couple. When you book, we’ll ask you a few quick questions about yourself and use your answers to help put together tables with people you’ll have plenty to chat about with.
You won’t be the only one arriving without knowing anyone, and that’s kind of the point :)
One guest from our previous Dinner Clubs told us:
“The people were so varied that it just made sense. There were interesting conversations and I laughed so much my stomach hurt.”
What’s for dinner?
Flynn’s has created a three-course menu especially for the night:
- Starter: Crispy Welsh rarebit with pear chutney and leaves
- Main: Slow-cooked Welsh venison rigatoni, or roasted mushroom rigatoni with red wine, tomato and Parmesan
- Dessert: Lemon posset with blackberry compote and Welsh-cake shortbread
Tickets are £36 per person and include your Dinner Club place and all three courses. Drinks can be bought separately from Flynn’s on the night.
This isn’t a dating event and there’s no awkward networking or forced icebreakers. Just a table of new people, some good food and a couple of hours to see where the conversation goes.
Hopefully you head home having met a few new faces - and maybe even made the start of a new friendship or two.
