For over a century, Swan Lake has enchanted audiences with Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score and one of ballet's most enduring love stories. This November, the Gryphon Theatre is honored to welcome the Grand Kyiv Ballet for a reimagining of the beloved classic unlike anything you've seen before.Swan Lake: Symphony of Lights weaves cutting-edge lighting technology and exclusively designed illuminated costumes into the timeless choreography, transforming the Gryphon stage into a living canvas of color, movement, and emotion. Faithful to Tchaikovsky's iconic score and the traditions of classical ballet, this production offers something extraordinary: a performance as visually stunning as it is deeply moving.
Founded in 2014 by Oleksandr Stoianov, People's Artist of Ukraine, the Grand Kyiv Ballet has performed for audiences across China, Europe, Scandinavia, North and South America – and since the earliest days of the war in Ukraine, has continued touring the world as a testament to the strength, beauty, and resilience of Ukrainian art and culture.
