🎄 A BELOVED SIERRA VISTA HOLIDAY TRADITION RETURNS — WITH AN EXTRA SPECIAL MEANING THIS YEARThe magic of the holiday season is returning to Sierra Vista as the Sierra Vista Dance Company presents its Community Nutcracker at Buena High School!
This year’s production will be especially meaningful, as it will be the first Community Nutcracker performed following the passing of Hilda Bergsneider, Ballet Mistress and owner of Sierra Vista Ballet, who passed this cherished community tradition on to Sierra Vista Dance Company when she retired.
For the show’s director, Hilda’s legacy is deeply personal. She was Hilda’s student and friend for 20 years, and this will mark her fifth year directing the Community Nutcracker for SVDC.
This year’s performance will honor that incredible legacy while continuing what Hilda helped build — giving local dancers the opportunity to take the stage and bringing families together to experience a wonderful Sierra Vista holiday tradition.
And there are some new surprises in store this year!
The multi-genre production will feature new roles and special additions, along with a new VIP ticket experience. VIP guests will have the opportunity to meet the main characters before the show, get autographs, receive a special gift and choose their seats before the theater opens to the general public.
