Witness the rise of the next generation of world-class plucked-string artists at the Competition Winners Concert, featuring the top laureates from last year's M.E. Brune Rising Stars Virtual Guitar Competition (Sotiris Athanasiou) and the Jacob Reuven Mandolin Competition (Suzuna Takahashi). They will be joined by Adrian Montero who recieved his Masters at URI under the tutelage of Professor Adam Levin.
This special evening offers a first look at the extraordinary talents shaping the future of guitar and mandolin performance. These artists have emerged from a highly competitive international field of young virtuosos—and now take the stage to showcase their artistry.

A rising star in the mandolin world who has won awards and concertized at home in Japan as well as in Germany, where she is currently studying - Sotiris Athanasiou– Winner, 2025 M.E. Brune Guitar Competition, Young Artist Division
A Greek Guitarist praised for his exceptional palette of colors and remarkable technique - Adrian Montero Moya– URI Alumn, Returning Artist
A Costa Rican Guitarist praised for his passionate playing, dazzling technique, and boldly innovative programming.
