On November 7th, Suter Du Bose and the Ironwood Jazz Supper Club Series are proud to present Ms MaryLynn Gillaspie, one of the great jazz singers in Colorado. She was a founder of the internationally renowned and Grammy-nominated Rare Silk and has shared the stage with many of the great jazz legends, including Benny Goodman, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, McCoy Tyner, Spyro Gyra, Mel Tormé, Branford Marsalis, and many more.She is one of my all-time favorite jazz singers and always delivers a vocal performance with impeccable, true, and precise jazz phrasing. Her style is classic in its warmth but also modern, which leaves her free to go wherever the music takes her, on the spot. Her shows are thrilling!
