🛍️✨👕Join us for Sustainable Northstowe’s first swish!👕✨🛍️What is a swish?
A swish is a clothes swap event. Simply bring clothes that you feel need a new home and exchange them for new to you items! The clothing and textiles industry produces up to 12% of all global carbon emissions and is the world’s second largest industrial producer. Clothes swaps are vibrant community events, inclusive to all and a great way to support local environmental causes!
✅ Bring good quality and clean clothes, shoes and accessories that you would be happy to donate to a friend
❌ We cannot accept earrings, swimwear, underwear, night clothes or spoilt and dirty clothes
👔 Please do not bring school uniforms, the local schools have this service available already!
🎯 You do not need to donate to join in with the swish, come along and see what’s available to you!
💚 Surplus donations will be taken to Emmaus

13:00 - 14:00 drop off and weigh in donated clothes
14:30 Swish begins!
16:00 Swish ends
💖A small donation toward Sustainable Northstowe will be welcome to support future community events.
