An irreverent, hilarious, and wildly entertaining road-trip adventure to inspire you to get outside and appreciate birds.
To celebrate fall bird migration the City is hosting a FREE screening of LISTERS: A Glimpse Into Extreme Birdwatching.
The feature-length film follows director Owen Reiser and his brother Quentin on their 2024 attempt to break the 'Big Year' record for the Lower 48 by seeing well over 700 bird species. The catch? The brothers know nothing about birds or how to find them.
Film Rating & Intended Audiences
This is a great film for environment stewards in need of a good laugh. However the film does use strong language and is rated mature (ages 17+). To accommodate parents of young children, a Parent's Night Out program for kids will be hosted concurrently at Talley Recreation Center the evening of the event.
