Join us at the London Zoo for an immersive and impactful sustainability conference designed for educators and students (age 14-24) passionate about creating real-world change. This event, hosted by Toucan Project's Microuniversity in partnership with Digital Camp, brings together leading academics, industry experts, and the next generation of sustainability advocates to explore pressing environmental challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Here's what you can expect on the day:
- Connect with Pioneers: Hear from sustainability practitioners, educational leaders, and industry experts discussing the UK’s sustainability strategy and the role of education in addressing environmental challenges.
- Earn Microcredentials: Teachers and students will have the opportunity to earn microcredentials and certifications in "Design Thinking for Sustainability," equipping them with the skills needed to guide their students in developing impactful green tech projects.
- Project Workshops: Students will engage in hands-on project workshops led by teachers and mentors in sustainability, technology, and business, empowering them to apply their knowledge to real-world projects.
- Private Zoo Tour: Explore the London Zoo with guided tours, providing an inspiring backdrop as participants build connections and strengthen their commitment to sustainability.

The conference runs from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm for teachers and 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm for students, including lunch and a private tour of the zoo for all at 4:00 pm.
