MOVING FAMILY RECONSTRUCTION
Behaviors and feelings that significantly disturb a person’s vitality and joy can often be traced back to family history, orders, rules, myths, rituals or even traumas.
In Moving Family Reconstruction, representatives (participants from the group) for family members are set up in relation to each other on the basis of the genogram – a kind of family tree. These representatives are given body sensations and movement impulses, which they can usually follow with music, and which provide important conclusions about the family system. While the classic method only talks about these sensations, the whole system is set in motion and shows potential reorientations. By expressing sadness, anger, boredom, eroticism, fun, etc., the representatives can provide precise information about the family member. The family histories become clear and are reinterpreted for the future organization of life. In this way, we find access to strengths, talents and sources of strength and recognize where the family has not only hindered us, but also what it has enabled us to do.

BEWEGTE FAMILIENREKONSTRUKTION
