There was a large roomful of people at the last Surrey ACORN Organizing Committee meeting. Action plans were made, and social, private, and co-op tenants are more united than ever to ensure our voices are heard. The focus of the organizing drive is "Save Our Homes"—all homes. No co-op, market rental, non-profit, or BC Housing tenant should be displaced or forced to live in substandard housing conditions.
