It's Official! We need your help to grow our team of Surf Sports Officials across the Taranaki Region! Our surf sports carnivals rely on the support of dedicated officials and volunteers to ensure our athletes can compete, develop their skills, and enjoy the sport we all love. To keep our carnivals running successfully, we need more people from our clubs and wider communities to get involved.
We encourage you to think about the people in your club and local community who might be interested in helping out. This could be parents, caregivers, older members, supporters, or anyone keen to contribute to surf sports.
There are a range of officiating roles to suit different interests, skills, and confidence levels. Whether someone enjoys being hands-on with athletes, keeping track of times, managing events, marshalling competitors, or helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, there is a role for them!
