About this Event
Hosted by RSMP, Manchester City Council and Greater Manchester Combined Authority, this regional conference will bring together partners from across a range of disciplines supporting people seeking sanctuary, those seeking sanctuary, specifically with immigration complexities and restricted eligibility and/or no Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF). The aim is to widen knowledge across the region and seek improvements in practice through effective multi-agency partnership working. The day will feature a range of discussions, speakers and workshops, providing opportunities to share learning, showcase innovation, and identify practical solutions to current challenges.

Info: An overview of migration policy announcements and their impacts upon people who have arrived in the UK under different migration routes.
Workshop 1
Info: Supported by NRPF Connect (amongst others) a session for Local Authorities to explore the benefits of improved identification and tracking of NRPF cases. This will include data collection, reporting, and sharing of best practice.
Workshop 2
Info: A focus on early years and inclusive support for migrant children within an educational setting.
