🌧️ When Your Child Is Depressed: What Every Parent Needs to KnowIs your child or teen withdrawing, struggling at school, sleeping more—or less—than usual, losing interest in things they once enjoyed, or becoming increasingly irritable?
Sometimes it can be hard to know: Is this normal growing up, or is something more serious happening?
Join us for an important conversation designed specifically for parents and caregivers of children and teens experiencing depression.
💙 We’ll talk about:
-How depression can look different in children and teens
-Warning signs parents may overlook
-What your child may be experiencing beneath the behavior
-What to say—and what not to say—when your child is struggling
-How to talk with your child about depression and suicide
-When and how to seek professional help
-Treatment options and how parents can support recovery
-Practical things you can do at home
-How to support yourself while supporting your child
Most importantly, you’ll leave with practical tools, resources, and a better understanding of what to do next.
You don't have to diagnose your child.
You don't have to fix everything.
You just need to know the next step. ❤️
