About this Event
Support Starts Here
Open to Canterbury-Bankstown Women Only
Join us for a free and informative workshop with the Justice Support Centre to learn about the rights, support, and services available to people who have experienced crime.
This session is designed to help you better understand your rights and where to turn for support. Whether you are seeking information for yourself or someone you care about, this workshop provides a safe and welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and connect with available services.
In this workshop, you will:
✨ Learn about the rights of victims of crime
✨ Explore the different types and roles of support services available
✨ Find out where and how to access legal and practical assistance
✨ Discover what to expect when seeking help
✨ Have the opportunity to ask questions in a safe and supportive environment
You don't need to have all the answers or know where to start. Support Starts Here is an opportunity to build your knowledge, understand your options, and learn about the support that is available.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Note: please call the Centre at 02 9790 1378 if you intend to bring a child.
