About this Event
Come see Peterborough the way students know it best: through a grocery cart with one questionable wheel. We’ll hop between local stores, compare prices, figure out which bus actually gets you there, uncover student discounts, and share food supports and money-saving tricks that make the weekly grocery run hurt a little less. Along the way, we’ll talk honestly about food access, transportation, and why groceries somehow cost $47 when you swear you only bought hummus and bananas.
Come hungry for knowledge, bargains, and possibly snacks.
Meet at Bata Loop, and take a guided bus trip downtown to a couple grocery stores.
Reccomend comfortable walking shoes, and to bring a reuseable grocery bag. (You will have short time at each store to do personal shopping)
