About this Event
We warmly invite you to the Supergen Bioenergy Hub Annual Assembly at the Holiday Inn, Lime Street, Liverpool on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 November.
Join us for an event bringing together stakeholders from academia, industry and policy to explore the latest developments and strategic directions in UK and global biomass and bioenergy.
On day 1, we will hold an industry forum looking at the challenges and opportunities for securing finance and investment in bioenergy projects. This will be in parallel to sessions organised by the SHARE Network for our early career researchers. In the evening, we will host a Night at the Museum with a buffet dinner. This will showcase artefacts from our Museum of the Future, demonstrating envisioned impact from our research projects.
Day 2 will be a showcase of where we have worked with stakeholders to add value and create impact, covering topics such as green gas, heat, international partnerships, biomass policy, skills and capability development, and more.
A poster competition will showcase the latest research from Supergen-funded projects and the wider community.
You will also have plenty of opportunity to connect and network with colleagues and new contacts.
Day 1 begins with lunch for all attendees from 12pm with parallel sessions beginning at 1pm. A buffet dinner will be provided alongside the Museum of the Future.
Day 2 will begin with registration from 9.15am and the first presentation at 9.45am. The event will close at 4.45pm.
Please visit our website for the full agenda.
Registration will close on 2 November at 4pm.
