Please join ????? ???? ???????? ???????? (????) as we remove vines that are choking a majestic riverside Cottonwood grove adjacent to Garcia Bend Park, while also removing trash and other pollution hidden beneath.We will then relax by the river to watch the sunset with a beverage of your choice (Wine is obviously a cute name, and merely a beverage suggestion).
We will gather at the Garcia Bend Park boat ramp. This event is scheduled from 4 to 8 pm, but feel free to show up and leave any time you would like.
This event is suitable for ages 14 and older. Any minors must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event.
We will provide bags for any trash we come across, but please bring along your sturdy footwear, grabbers, buckets, gloves, electric/hand saws, loppers and cultivators. We will not be entering the water during this event.
As with all events shared by RCWA, participation is performed solely at your own risk. Please place safety FIRST and do only what you feel comfortable doing. Moreover, participants will be required to sign a Release and Waiver form if they have not done so previously.
