Sunrise Trek on Garstin Trail Loop

Nothing beats a sunrise hike! We will hit the trail with Desert Trek and follow the switchbacks up the Garstin trail for our initial scenic reward. Then take the trail to Cahuilla Peak for epic 360 views where we will enjoy the sunrise. We will make the trek down the Shannon trail, around Earl Henderson back to the start. This loop is roughly 3.5 miles with 1,100 ft elevation gain. Every twist and turn will leave you in awe!

Park on Barona Road and be respectful of the residential signage. Be sure to wear hiking boots or athletic shoes with grippy soles, layers and sun protection. Pack water and salty snacks to stay hydrated and energized.
