There’s something pretty special about experiencing Painshill first thing in the morning - before the gates open, before the day's visitors arrive, with the landscape feeling completely your own.
Join us for a gentle morning of forest bathing, immersed in the changing landscape as autumn begins to transform the park. Lisa from HINOKI Forest Bathing will guide us into presence, taking our time to wander through the landscape and pause along the way to notice what's around us - from the changing colours and textures of the season to the sounds of the morning and the feel of the fresh autumn air.
Rather than covering lots of ground, this is about slowing down and experiencing Painshill differently. There'll be plenty of opportunities to pause, breathe, look around and simply enjoy being outside.
Autumn naturally brings a sense of change. As the trees begin to let go of what they no longer need, we'll also create space to pause and reflect on what we might be ready to leave behind. It's a beautiful time of year to step back from the usual pace of life and give yourself some space to rest - letting go to make space for what is yet to come.
We'll finish the morning with a seasonal tea ceremony, taking a moment to sit together, warm up and enjoy a bespoke herbal blend inspired by the season. You'll also receive a packet to take home, so you can recreate a little of the experience later.
Your morning includes
- A guided forest bathing experience around Painshill
