Join Dash of Creativity at Stark Brewing Company in Manchester, New Hampshire, for a cozy October Sunday afternoon of handmade creativity, local connections, great food, and craft beer.
Create Five Handmade Items to Swap
Choose one type of handmade item and create five versions to bring to the swap. They can all match, or you can change up the colors, patterns, materials, scents, themes, or decorative details.
Make something useful, colorful, cozy, funny, seasonal, or unexpected. This is a relaxed way to share something you enjoy making and head home with new handmade finds from other local creators.
Ideas include:
- Fall or Halloween ornaments
- Crocheted bookmarks
- Beaded bracelets
- Candles
- Embroidered decorations
- Handmade cards
- Keychains or small accessories
- Mini painted canvases
- Yarn-wrapped pumpkins
During the event, you will exchange your creations with other participants and leave with five handmade surprises.
Your Ticket Includes
- Admission to the October Handmade Swap
- A welcoming, organized space to meet other local makers
- A facilitated exchange designed to keep the swap simple and fair
- Five handmade items selected during the exchange
- An afternoon of creativity, conversation, and seasonal inspiration
Participants are responsible for making and bringing their five swap items. Crafting materials are not included.
Important Swap Guidelines
- Bring five handmade items in the same general category.
- Your five items may be identical or feature different colors and details.
- Keep creations reasonably sized and easy to exchange.
- Items do not need to be elaborate or professionally made.
- Please do not bring food, baked goods, candy, beverages, or other edible items.
- Each registered participant will leave with five handmade creations.
Make an Afternoon of It
Come hungry or thirsty. Attendees are encouraged to order from Stark Brewing Company’s menu of freshly prepared food, craft beer, and other beverages while enjoying the swap. Food and beverages are purchased separately and are not included with registration.
About Dash of Creativity
Dash of Creativity brings approachable, hands-on creative experiences to breweries, restaurants, libraries, recreation programs, and community spaces throughout New England. Events are relaxed and social, with plenty of room to create, connect, and try something new.
Minimum Enrollment & Refund Policy
A minimum of 5 participants is required for the swap to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, the event may be canceled or rescheduled. If Dash of Creativity cancels the event, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
Participant Cancellations
Refunds are available for cancellations made at least 7 days before the event. Tickets are non-refundable within 7 days of the event and are not transferable.
