What would a major earthquake or changing climate mean for British Columbia — and how prepared are we for what could come?Join us at the Lynn Valley Legion on Sunday, October 18 at 3pm for a fascinating Sunday Speaker Series presentation, Fault Lines & Flood Lines: What Cascadia and Climate Change Mean for British Columbia, with Johanna Wagstaffe.
An award-winning meteorologist, seismologist, science journalist and bestselling author — as well as a Lynn Valley resident — Johanna will explore two forces that have the potential to dramatically shape our province: the Cascadia Subduction Zone and our changing climate.
This is an opportunity to learn more about the science behind the risks we hear so much about, what they could mean for British Columbia and why understanding them matters to all of us.
