We encourage everyone to come to the jam with something they are working on to share with the group.
This weekly jam is meant to bring beginners and experienced musicians together. Consider joining the roster of mentors who will help host some of the sessions. Or think about switching from your dominant instrument (or dominant hand!). This is a wonderful opportunity to slow down and focus on technique, to ask questions, and to share tips with new players.
This is an all acoustic, all ages, and all levels SLOWish JAM to play traditional Old-Time music in 3/4 and 4/4 time. No percussion or bass please, unless you can keep a VERY steady rhythm (acoustic/U-basses may be amplified).
