Enjoy your Sunday by spending the evening at the Painted Lady with some drinks and live music without breaking the bank. Genres ranging from R&B, Rock, Indie, and Folk featuring some of Toronto’s established and upcoming acts, including Ville n Soul, Hallowed Keys, Jake Burns, Sam Hudson, and Flyod Ives. Hailing from sunny Sydney Australia, Floyd Ives is bringing some much needed warmth to Toronto this winter. A wry performer with a penchant for acoustic indie, Floyd is climbing out of the boot and into the driver’s seat of Canada’s folk-revival. So book the babysitter, pack a bottle of sherry and mosey on down to catch Floyd at his most indelible!
Hallowed Keys is a contemporary indie R&B/Rock project blending dark melodic sounds, hard-hitting drums, and expressive vocals. The project is heavily influenced by Alternative genres and introspective songwriting.
Sam Hudson is an indie-alternative singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, DIY producer and music teacher based in Toronto. Originally from Kent County, New Brunswick, Hudson’s music reflects his journey through spiritual awakening and is characterized by his touch on the piano (Chris Martin of Coldplay), introspective lyrics (Elliott Smith) and hooky melodies (The Beatles
