**Location change to Val de la Mare from Adelina Woods**
Jersey Trees for Life is hosting an open volunteering session at Val de la Mare Arboretum on Sunday 11 October at 10.30am.
If you're interested in trees and nature, or fancy getting out into the fresh air for a bit of gentle exercise on a autumn morning, we'd love you to join us.
This time the activity will be removing invasive sycamore growth and removing ivy from our dawn redwoods.

We'll meet at 10:30am in the main car park at the top end of the arboretum (across the main road from aMaizin Adventure Park):

For those joining us, please bear in mind the following:
- First-time volunteers need to complete a one-off before attending; if you consent to emails, you'll receive our monthly volunteer update.
- Check the forecast and wear or bring layers and a hat, or sunscreen, as appropriate.
- Ensure you bring protective gloves, e.g. gardening gloves.
- Avoid exposing your skin to bites, scratches and stings by wearing long sleeves and trousers (light material is good).
- You may get tired so don’t push yourself too hard; take it at your own pace.
- Bring snacks and drinks to maintain energy levels.
