About this Event
Your weekly reset ritual to come back to the simple things.
Letting your body intuitively teach you how it likes to be cared for. You'll settle into yin poses for 2-3 minutes, letting the body open on its own time. The longer holds create space in the fascia and nervous system that we don’t usually access in faster-paced yoga classes.
At home, this practice usually looks like dim lighting, blankets and props, a list of poses I want to flow through for whichever my intention is that day, as I listen to healing frequencies. I’ll settle into a pose for a couple of minutes, put my hands on me, breathe, and feel connected.
When you come to Yin, Sound & Reiki on Sunday, expect to walk into a cozy candlelit space, grab a cup of tea and read your intuitively chosen inspiration card as we settle into class.
We begin with some breathwork to shift our nervous system and get connected, then we'll melt into gentle yin postures, allowing your body to intuitively release and reset, letting the pose do what it needs to do. A sound bath will wash through you and the room, while I offer inspiration to integrate the experience. Yes. It gets better. You'll receive a hands-on Reiki session while you lie in Savasana so you can leave feeling renewed on all levels. We'll end the class with a short reflection and feeling connected to our community and those around us.
You don't need to bring anything! Mats and blankets will be provided. Come in comfy & cozy clothes and hoodies/extra blanket if you'd like.
