Hi there! These community park sessions are intended to connect Austin locals to nature through mindfulness practice. All experience levels are welcome. Hope to see you soon!
When:
1st Sundays 6-7pm - led by Allyson
2nd Sundays 6-7pm - Jay
3rd Sundays 6-7pm - led by Hazel
4th Sundays 6-7pm - led by Jay
5th Sunday 6-7pm (August 30th) - led by Hazel
Where: Live Oak Meadow, Pease Park
Bring: yoga mat/towel and water
FREE VS DONATION TICKETS
Donations are optional but highly appreciated! Donations help us to keep improving these sessions and ensure that our teachers are fairly compensated for their hard work. At check out, you can choose a free ticket or a donation ticket. You can also donate through our virtual tip jar. If you choose to donate, our recommended amounts are below:
Standard Donation- $5
Pay-It-Forward Donation- $10
SEVA YOGA (SELFLESS SERVICE)
OPTIONAL: If you'd like to practice seva yoga (selfless service) after our movement practice, 1st Sundays we will stay until 7:30 cleaning up plastic trash at the park. This is completely optional, we just want to provide space for reciprocity with the park. You can find more park cleanup information here.
LOCATION & TIME INFORMATION
**LOCATION- we are NOT in the sports field near the basketball courts and treehouse!! We are further north at the Live Oak Meadow. On a map, this is near Windsor Rd E and Parkway OR right across from the Snead-Rieck House. I recommend parking near here so you don't have to walk too far. If you cannot find us day-of, please text Allyson at (512) 710-9640.
