Once a month, I open my home for a morning of bread — slow, hands-on, and shared around one big table.This workshop follows a "bake backwards" approach: we start with a dough I've already prepared, ready to bake and enjoy together, so you can see and taste the result first. Then we roll up our sleeves and work backward to the beginning — building dough from scratch and learning the rhythm of sourdough baking step by step.
Along the way, we share a light Italian lunch spread together — cheeses, vegetables, mezze, and coffee or tea — because a morning of bread deserves a proper table.
By the end of the morning, you'll leave with:
A jar of Grannie, my sourdough starter, to keep at home
Your own shaped dough, ready to bake
A loaf of the bread we baked together, still warm
This isn't a class in the traditional sense — it's a ritual. A once-a-month appointment with slowness, real ingredients, and good company around the table.
